There is No Health Care Bill

I have very close to zero ability to guarantee anything, but one think I think I can safely guarantee is that if this monstrosity that I like to refer to as "MEDICUS MAXIMUS," the so-called health care reform bill passes, our jaws will collectively hit the floor when we find out what provisions the final draft contains. It is obvious to every thinking person that this bill can't be something that will benefit the majority of Americans because of the OBSESSIVE SECRECY that has surronded the bill from the start of this whole debate. If this bill is something that will improve the lives of average Americans, cut health care price inflation, expand coverage, improve the delivery system and pay for itself over time, common sense says that it's sponsors in both Houses of Congress would be proud of this bill and would welcome public scrutiny. Nothing of the sort is happening, nor will it happen. The truth is that this bill is designed to raise taxes, to perpetuate Democrat domination of government, control the most intimate decisions a citizen can make and move this great country from it's historical role as economic leader of the free world, into the ranks of a second tier nation. I will repeat the call I have repeatedly made: Please email, write and call your Congressional delegation and demand that they vote NO on this bill, whatever it's final form may take. This current crop of politicians has made it abundantly clear that they are untrustworthy and I think Bill Crystal had the right call on this months ago when he said: "Just kill this bill."
