The Late Great Lee Hazlewood (1929 – 2007)
Lately I’ve been on a music bender, over the work of the late great Lee Hazlewood. You might have heard his Nancy Sinatra production era (These Boots Are Made For Walking), or perhaps his Nancy Sinatra duets (Some Velvet Morning/Jackson/Ladybird). The Hazlewood era that intrigues me the most, was his uncategorizable solo material released during the 70′s.
During a recent YouTube search, I came across this fan-made video of ‘Think I’m Coming Down’ from Hazlewood’s ‘Poet, Fool, or Bum’ LP from 1973.
Today for the 1st time since 1982, the Australian Dollar is matching the US Dollar. America is now ‘Coming Down’ in more ways than one.
