Sarah did a very nice job on the speech. She touched on a lot of topics that conservatives want to hear. Perhaps she had a checklist like Obama. Not to say it was a speech like Obama but just that he hit on so many topics at the SOT that Palin’s speech seem to touch on just about every conservative concern. All in all it was excellent to this conservative’s ears.
That being said I would like to move from substance to style. Lets face it, Sarah is folksy and simplistic. Some people like that about her. It certainly makes her likable but it is kind of hard to imagine her tackling something complex. I think she lacks the sophistication. Some may say that is a good thing but in my view it seems a tad unpresidential. Her you betcha politics are a bit polarizing and if she were to run for office in 2012 it would be stark contrast to the other prominent prospective candidates who seem more trustworthy on complex issues. Sorry Sarah, just sayin’.
