Romney to use space at son’s firm Solamere

The AP reports on where Mitt Romney will hang his hat during the day — the office space of the venture capital firm co-founded by his son, Tagg:

Solamere was founded by his oldest son, Tagg Romney, and Spencer Zwick, the national finance committee chairman for Romney’s presidential bid.

Former aides speaking on the condition of anonymity said Romney was subletting office space from Solamere. The aides were not authorized to publicly discuss the plans.

This is more about a room of one’s own than a new business opportunity for Romney. But it underscores the extent to which the business interests of some of his consultants and advisers were deeply interwoven with his campaign.
